Using the experience acquired in the production of our diffusion systems, CORDONNIER is constantly striving to improve extraction by proposing innovative new techniques. CORDONNIER can delivrer a complete turn key system comprising the vertical diffuser, the cossette mixer and defoaming tank.

The CORDONNIER diffusion tower operates based on the principle of the counter-current system between cossettes and water.
The sliced cossettes mixed with the juice (or magma) enter the diffusion tower through the bottom and are transported to the top via fix arms installed in the shell and stirring arms installed on the inner rotating tubes. Unsweetened water or fresh water introduced separately from the press water arrives in the upper part. This liquid flows downward while the cossettes are carried upward. The water is progressively loaded with sugar in contact with the cossettes, and gradually descends. The sweetened juice exits the tower through horizontal and vertical grids installed in the bottom. This juice is called circulation juice.
Before leaving the tours diffuser, the exhausted cossettes enter an area without water called the draining area. This area allows the pulps to exit already rid of a large amount of their water. These pulps are then pressed and then sold.
The obtained press water is entirely recycled at the top of the diffusion under the fresh water after being strained and heated.
To ensure a good diffusion temperature, fresh water, press water and magma are introduced in the tower at a precise temperature.
